Join us for a guided walking tour through Töölö, Helsinki’s most extensive residential area from the 1920s. This unique district is defined by its elegantly restrained architecture and a maze-like street network. What inspired Töölö’s rich urban plan and subtle architectural language? How do the ideals of the era manifest in the area’s key landmarks?
Explore Töölö beyond the surface in the company of expert guides from the Architecture & Design Museum Helsinki. Our walking tours are scripted by museum specialists and led by guides well-versed in each tour’s theme. This tour is part of our 2025 summer series of open architecture walks through some of Helsinki’s most fascinating residential neighbourhoods.
