Free guided visits to Design Museum’s exhibitions
During the summer, we will provide free guided visits in different languages once a week to the museum’s current exhibitions. The fascinating tours of the exhibitions with provide further information on the exhibits and their designers.
In Finnish: Tuesdays at 5 p.m.
In Swedish: On Saturday 23 July and 20 August at 3 p.m.
In English: Saturdays from 1 June to 31 August at 2 p.m.
In Russian: On Saturday 30 July and 27 August at 1 p.m.

Design Museum’s summer exhibitions are open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Come to the studio to draw or to take a break in chairs designed by Eero Aarnio.
Design workshop for families on 16 July
Find inspiration and design together with the museum staff. Colour postcards and carve round shapes of your own from soap. This workshop is for children of school age on their own. Younger children need to be accompanied by an adult.
The museum’s Design Evenings will not be held during the summer season, but the public is welcome to visit the exhibitions free of charge from 5 to 6 p.m. on the last Tuesday of the month.

The Night of the Arts
Helsinki’s Night of the Arts will be celebrated in the traditional manner at Design Museum, this year on Thursday, 25 August. There will be several special events at the museum, with free entrance from 5 to 9 p.m. Further details will be posted at the beginning of August.
