We created SPOK in a time when many thought that Swedish production didn’t exist anymore.
But it is the opposite.
Local production has many advantages. Besides the sustainability, it is good to know that those who work in production have fair salaries and working conditions.
It is also valuable to be able to meet them since they are experts within their fields.
Many of those who are listed on SPOK are the only ones with that specific skill. The old manufacturing model where you take material from one part of the world, ship it to another part of the world to manufacture a product and then ship it again to a third part of the world to sell it, –
that model, is absurd.
