In the Russian-language Design Club for families we dive into the world of design through the Design Museum’s exhibitions. The Design Club for adults and children will meet during the year on four Saturdays from 2 pm to 4 pm. Club days are March 5, April 23, August 27. and 26.11. The child participates in the club together with a parent, godparent, grandmother or other relative. The club is designed for 6-12 year olds and their close adults. 5 pairs of adults and a child will participate in one club. Welcome to learn and be inspired by different techniques and themes!
The club meets in the studio of the Design Museum. Before the workshop, we will visit a current exhibition, the theme of which we will delve into in the workshop. The club is led by Irina Kreer-Boulay, a Russian multidisciplinary artist and designer living in Helsinki and a guide in the Design Museum.
The club fee is 20e per time and is paid at the museum box office on the day of the club. The price includes guidance, materials and admission to the museum for one adult and one child. To create a warm team spirit, we hope that club members will be able to participate in all four club days. Participation requires pre-registration by e-mail irina.kreer@designmuseum.fi. The club will be filled in the order of registration.
The workshops of the Design Museum follow the regulations issued by the Regional State Administrative Agency. We are actively monitoring the situation, and our workshops will be organized with priority given to interest rate restrictions and safety. If necessary, the club will be implemented remotely in online format in Zoom. If the workshop goes online, the materials needed are included in the course price and can be picked up from the museum before the club meets.
