Community Garden Events: Did you know this about domestic plants?
Saturday 3 February 2024 at 15:00â16:30 at the Architecture Museum
Free entry
Domestic plants are plant species and animal breeds that have traveled as a human companion, but have always also adapted to the local nature and environment. They still have plenty of wild plant characteristics left, and they survive with little care in their own area. They can be compared to dialects and folk songs, because they too have their history and regional variations. They are living cultural heritage; cultural wealth that needs its nurturers, administrators and people who make them known. Come and learn about domestic plants from Maatiainen ry!
