Performance: One Sentence Love Story
One Sentence Love Stories is a 3-hour participatory diptych performance that explores the tensions between public and private space and challenges what and whose personal backgrounds are allowed to be public knowledge and in what form. The purpose of the performance is to archive, honor and monumentalize different experiences of love. It is related to graffiti painting and its uses throughout history. You can arrive and leave the performance at any time. Olga Spyropoulou (born 1985, Athens) is a performance artist and writer based in Helsinki.
In the workshop, sketching is tackled by exploring, wondering and experimenting together. The workshop focuses on sketching a familiar or unknown person using various techniques with the guidance of the Design Museum’s workshop guides. Participants are offered instructions, ideas and exercises for sketching, so previous drawing experience is not required. The sketching workshop is held in the main exhibition space on the second floor, and you can stop by the non-stop workshop according to your own schedule. No advance reservations, participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. Workshop is suitable for all ages, and the languages of the workshop are Finnish and English.
