In this workshop, participants will explore the process of creating a public space artwork through sketching and model-making. These methods are essential tools for many spatial artists, helping them to understand proportions, illustrate ideas, and visualize changes within a space.
The workshop begins with an inspiring tour of Maija Lavonen’s exhibition, where participants will learn about her spatial works and sources of inspiration. Afterwards, small groups will design their own pieces and create conceptual prototypes using ready-made models and various materials.
This workshop is designed for adult groups. Specific needs and preferences can be discussed in advance with the contact person.
