Welcome to a learning experience at Design Museum!

Design is part of everyday life. It offers interesting perspectives and connections on everything from global issues to personal memories.

Design Museum offers an active learning environment for people of all ages who are interested in design. Our goal is to display the practices of professional design to different audiences and to generate interest in the broad field of designs. This is done with the aid of temporary exhibitions, the museum permanent exhibition of Finnish design, the Design Studio, and various workshops. The temporary exhibitions include lectures and visits by experts.

Teacher training 

Information on the exhibitions for school teachers is provided at two events held twice a year. In addition, special training sessions are organized in association with the educational authorities of the City of Helsinki and other official bodies.
