Design Museum Facilities

Design Museum offers fantastic surroundings for different types of events. The changing exhibitions at the Design Museum give added value and endless possibilities to make Your event unforgettable.  The Design Museum has long term experience for various types of events that meet the most demanding needs.

Auditorium

Design Museum Auditorium (70 m2, max 60–70 persons) and conference room (16 persons) are available mainly during regular museum hours. Exhibition spaces can be used primarily when the Museum is closed for public. The Design Museum is in the very center of Helsinki and accessible easily by walking, bus 16, tram 10 and taxi.

Café

During Museum opening hours the 35 seat café is open the public. Afer closing (at 6 pm) servings can be extended to other Museum spaces. Catering services, are run by the Museum Café and they can service various types of events. The exhibition and lobby spaces can cater from coctail events to press meetings and special occasions.

Exhibition Spaces

Exhibition spaces are in three floors:

• Ground floor 250m2, room height 200–285 cm, max 65 persons
• I floor 335m2, room height 360–410cm, max 180 persons
• II floor 700m2, room height 420–610 cm, max 180 persons
