SMILE ARMY- Helsinki / Collecting positivity

    26.04.2014, 12:00-15:00

Smile Army (Helsinki) is a 3 hour social intervention art project that will take place in the public spaces of Helsinki. Art students from Aalto University, from Finland and abroad, will wage war against the Finnish stereotypes of being a shy and non-smiling nation.

Headquarters of the Smile Army and the starting point of this event will begin at the Design Museum.  A group of Smile Army Soldiers will invade the streets of Helsinki to spread happiness by giving out compliments to strangers and smiles to city objects. They will also be collecting smiles that will be presented in the Design Museum.
